1. Introduction

Pocket Atlas is an independent project designed to help you visualize your photo journeys. By using this service, you agree to these terms. We try to keep things simple, fair, and respectful.

2. Acceptable Use

Please use Pocket Atlas responsibly.

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Upload content that violates someone else’s rights or privacy
  • Host malware, viruses, or any malicious code
  • Attempt to disrupt the service or access other users’ data without permission
  • Use the service for any purpose that violates local or international laws

To keep the platform safe for everyone, content may be removed and accounts may be suspended or deleted if these rules are violated.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the photos and data you upload.

By uploading content, you grant Pocket Atlas a limited permission to host, store, and display your content only for the purpose of providing the service to you. Content is private by default and is shown to others only if you choose to make your maps or galleries public.

4. Public Sharing

If you choose to make a map or gallery public:

  • Anyone with the link can view it
  • You are responsible for what you choose to share
  • Avoid publishing sensitive or personal information

Once content is public, it may be shared by others beyond your control.

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time.

When an account is deleted, associated photos, maps, and data are permanently removed, except where retention is required by law.

6. Service Availability and Disclaimer

Pocket Atlas is provided “as is.”

While care is taken to keep the service reliable and secure:

  • Availability is not guaranteed
  • Features may change over time
  • Data loss, while unlikely, is possible

Please keep backups of important photos.

7. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
